RAB Hires New Chief Risk Officer

Former Brevan Howard risk officer John Kenny is joining RAB Capital as chief risk officer. He replaces Steve Ellis, who held the post starting in November 2005, but recently moved into a fund management role within RAB.

Prior to joining Brevan, Kenny spent seven years in risk management at Abbey National Treasury Services and Credit Suisse Financial Products.

RAB's director of business development Rod Barker stated: "We are delighted that someone of John's proven capabilities in risk management is joining RAB to lead our efforts to achieve best practice in real time risk oversight.
