Hong Kong hedge fund Quam Asset Management has a new CEO and lead portfolio manager.

Richard Harris has joined the US$60 million firm from Port Shelter Investment, Asian Investor reports. He is also a former CEO of Jardine Fleming Private Bank and Citigroup Private Bank.

In his new post, he'll be responsible both for co-managing Quam's flagship Greater China Fund alongside Edward Wong and for increasing the fund's assets under management. The long/short China fund, managed by Wong since its launch five years ago, manages US$50 million.
