Bill O’Grady Named AlphaOne Managing Director

Pennsylvania-based specialty equity asset management firm AlphaOne Capital Partners has added Bill O’Grady to its client relationship and distribution team as a managing director.

O’Grady comes to AlphaOne from the alternative manager Integrity Capital, where he was a partner. He has over 25 years’ investment industry experience, including senior management stints at Alliance Capital, Pioneer Investments and Fidelity Investments.

Founded in late 2008 by former Gartmore CEO Paul Hondros, AlphaOne specializes in equity products and employs a staff of 20+.

Commenting on the appointment, Hondros said, “We’re delighted to welcome Bill and I am confident that his deep experience with supporting institutional and alternative products alike will benefit all of our strategies.”

O’Grady will be based in AlphaOne’s Boston office.
