Citadel's Eisenbeis Joins Private Equity Firm Welsh Carson

Citadel Investment Group's head of principal strategic investments has joined private equity firm Welsh Carson Anderson & Stowe.

William Eisenbeis was named a senior industry executive at the New York-based firm. He will focus on financial technology and services investments, HedgeFund.net reports, leading its deal sourcing, due diligence and company management in the sector.

Before joining Citadel, where he rose to head of the principal strategic investments group, Eisenbeis was global head of institutional business development at Merrill Lynch.
