Hedge fund administrator Centaur Fund Services has hired a former Citigroup executive to lead its business development efforts.
Gavan McGuire is charged with increasing Centaur's client roster and creating new distribution channels for the Dublin, Ireland-based company. He is based in London.
"Our service relies on the high quality and experience of our management team," Centaur Chairman Ronan Daly said. "Gavan fits that bill perfectly, and his track record and profile in the industry make him ideally placed to help us build on our momentum."
McGuire was most recently director of alternative investment services sales and relationship management at Citi. He joined the banking giant when it acquired BISYS Hedge Fund Services, now Citi Hedge Fund Services.
