Citadel Investment Group has added a former JPMorgan Chase coal trader to its energy trading team.
Miguel Abreu joined the Chicago-based hedge fund earlier this month, Bloomberg News reports. He was formerly head of coal trading at JPMorgan, and will continue to trade the commodity at Citadel. Abreu will be based in London.
Abreu's exit from JPMorgan follows the firm's acquisition of RBS Sempra Commodities' metals, oil and European power and gas businesses.
