The former head of hedge fund distribution and multi-manager investments at Legal & General Investment Management has joined Union Bancaire Privée.

Philippe Broadhead has been named head of U.K. sales at the Swiss private bank. He spent the previous eight years at L&G, where he was also head of U.K. institutional distribution.

"As well as being a consummate salesman, Philippe has the ability to spot market trends early on and match the right products with the right investors," Nicolas Faller, head of sales for Europe at UBP, said. "I have no doubt that he will use his experience to drive our U.K. business forward.”
