Trinity Funds Hires Energy Expert

New York-based hedge fund Trinity Funds has hired Mehdi Varzi as a director responsible for macro-research and Middle Eastern affairs. Varzi joins the firm from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, where he worked for almost 20 years, most recently as a senior energy consultant.

Trinity Funds, which employs a global macro strategy, was founded two years ago by Paul O'Reilly-Hyland, David Kallus and Cheng Hock Lau.
