Kamal Naqvi, a former member of Barclays Capital’s hedge fund sales team, will join Credit Suisse in June as a director and head of hedge fund coverage for its Metals Trading Alliance business. Naqvi will be based in London and will report to Alex Toone, head of global metals sales.

At Barclays Capital, Naqvi was responsible for the coverage of hedge funds and institutional clients across commodity products. Prior to joining Barclays, he worked at Macquarie Bank and CRU International, covering both base and precious metals markets.

"Kamal brings a wealth of experience and a detailedunderstanding of opportunities across the hedge fund and asset management industries,” said Toone. “His appointment is a strong addition to the Metals Alliance."
