The Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce has added three professionals to its prime brokerage team.
Darren Snelgrove will work on financing solutions and expanding CIBC’s prime brokerage capacities beyond equities. Andrew Dac Bang will focus on hard-to-borrow securities, finding new counterparties and client services, while Mark MacIsaac will work on the bank’s Web platform. The three are all based in Toronto.
Snelgrove comes to CIBC from MF Global Canada, where he handed hedge fund, high-frequency and institutional accounts. Dac Bang was hired from National Bank Financial’s equities desk and MacIsaac from HSBC.
