Triton Hires Ex-Dell, First Q Trader

Hedge fund Triton Capital Advisors has added Adam Ray as a top executive.

Ray was named senior vice president of alternative investments, the managed futures firm said. He was, from 2006 through 2009, head trader at hedge fund First Q Capital. Prior to that, he was head trader for a convertible arbitrage fund and long/short equity fund at MSD Capital, Dell Computer founder Michael Dell's investment business.

Before joining Triton, Ray was managing director at investment bank Execution Limited.

Triton is based in La Jolla, Calif.
