As it prepares to begin marketing its next private equity fund, Cerberus Capital Management is offering a glimpse of where some of the money raised will be going.

The New York-based firm has hired David Glenn to handle financial services investments, Bloomberg News reports. Glenn joins from p.e. shop Lightyear Capital and formerly covered financial services as a vice president at investment bank Greenhill & Co.

Cerberus is set to begin fundraising for its next fund within a few months. It's last p.e. fund raised $6.5 billion.
