MF Global, the former futures brokerage arm of the Man Group, has hired several high-profile alternative investments veterans as it seek to rebuild its fortunes.
The latest lured to the New York-based firm by former Goldman Sachs chief and New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine, now CEO of MF Global, is Richard Moore. Moore, a 22-year veteran of Citigroup, spent the last three years at financial advisory and alternative investments firm StormHarbour Partners.
Moore was named head of Europe at MF Global.
MF Global has also recently hired former Gandhara Advisors partner Munir Javeri, who was named global head of trading, and Michael Stockman, founder of CQ Solutions and a former UBS risk manager, who was named global chief risk officer.
