Hedge fund servicer Kinetic Partners has added two professionals to its Cayman Islands office, boosting its insolvency and forensic services team.

The arrivals of Jess Shakespeare and James Plowright come as the firm celebrates the fifth anniversary of its establishing a presence in the Caymans. Shakespeare has a long history as a qualified insolvency practitioner in the Caymans, while Plowright joins from Worrells Solvency and Forensic Accountants in Australia.

"These additions are just further examples of our continued growth and focus in the distressed funds arena," Geoff Varga, head of corporate recovery service, said. "Furthermore, by utilizing our firm's global team approach to formal and informal liquidation mandates, involving both onshore and offshore entities and structures, we have been able to continue to propel ourselves as a key provider of solutions in the space."
