Fund of funds shop Parker Global Strategies has hired Faye Ryan as managing director and director of operations.

Ryan will be responsible for overseeing single manager account administration, the collection and processing of daily trade data, overseeing client reporting for PGS’s multi-manager funds, managing the firm’s operational risk, and assisting with operational due diligence for PGS’s current and prospective managers. She will also be a member of the firm’s investment committee and reports to John Maxwell, chief operating officer.

Prior to joining the firm, Ryan served as a director at Fortis Fund Services (Asia).  Before that, she was accounting manager at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.

“Faye’s considerable experience working with Japanese clients is a great asset for our firm as we continue to expand our Japanese and Asian business,” said Virginia Parker, president and founder of PGS.
