The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority Employees' Retirement System is on the lookout for a fund of hedge funds.

The $300 million pension has issued a request for proposals for a fund of funds; the selected manager would be given up to $12 million. Mass. Water has an existing hedge fund allocation, but did not provide any information on its size.

The pension is conducting the search with the help of consultant NEPC.

Proposals are due on April 8; the RFP is available on the Massachusetts Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission's website.
