Russian Bank Adds Alts. Specialists

Russian bank VTB Capital has hired a pair of alternative investments veterans.

Steve Rice joins the firm in London as chief operating officer of the British branch. He was formerly a consultant for the Alternative Investment Management Association, where he worked for two years.

VTB also announced the addition of Yegor Popov as co-head of real-estate service. Popov, who is based in Moscow, joins from Russian private equity fund Thosiz Corp., where he was head of investments.
