How To Submit Guest Articles

Apr 5 2011 | 10:29am ET by Deirdre Brennan

I am often asked if we accept articles from guest contributors. We do indeed, though we get a lot of submissions that are basically sales pitches, and we don’t run those. What we do accept are thoughtfully written articles from industry professionals aimed at our buy-side hedge fund audience. We particularly like articles written by fund managers, analysts, economists and researchers.

Please send submissions for consideration to editorial@finalternatives.com

Here are the specs:

  • Word Count: 900 – 1,400 words
  • Photos and simple graphs are OK
  • No footnotes please
  • Include a short bio of the author
  • Include a link to author’s company, blog or whatever URL he/she wishes
  • Please do not send us sales pitches for a company or product
  • We reserve the right to edit or reject any articles
  • The author retains the copyright
  • The author must disclose any positions he/she holds in a company if discussing that stock
