PwC’s Asset Management Advisory Unit Hires Hedge Fund Specialist

PricewaterhouseCoopers has hired Mason Snyder as a managing director in the firm’s asset management advisory practice.

Based in PwC’s Los Angeles office, Snyder will be responsible for developing new business and delivering operations and technology solutions to fund managers, institutional investors and third-party service providers. 

Previously, Snyder co-founded Catalina Partners, an operational risk management and due diligence firm focused on the alternative investment industry. His partner in that venture, former chief compliance officer and chief operations officer of Pacific Alternative Asset Management Company (PAAMCO) Patricia Watters, will continue to run Catalina Partners.
