Och-Ziff Capital Management has launched a UCITS III-compliant multi-strategy hedge fund.
The European Multi-Strategy UCITS Fund will feature long/short equity, special situations, merger arbitrage, convertible and derivative arbitrage and credit segments. It is helmed by Michael Cohen, the New York-based firm's head of European investments.
"We are pleased to extend investors access to our investment capabilities and talented investment team in Europe through a UCITS III-compliant fund," firm founder Daniel Och said.
The new fund is the 12th to join Merrill Lynch's Investment Solutions UCITS platform, the world's biggest. Och-Ziff is featured alongside other industry giants, including Marshall Wace Capital Management and York Capital.
