Bear Hires VegaPlus Exec To Lead Hedge Fund Sales

Bear Stearns Asset Management has named Bill Best senior managing director and head of global hedge fund sales, it said today.

Best joins from New York-based hedge fund VegaPlus Capital Partners, where he served as managing director of business development. He has also spent time as an emerging markets portfolio manager at Rothschild Asset Management, a product manager at Pareto Partners and sales manager at AXA Rosenberg.
