Arden Names Permal's McDonald Head Of Client Services

Fund of hedge funds Arden Asset Management has hired a Permal Group executive to take over its client services effort.

Coby McDonald was named a partner, managing director and global head of client service and development at the firm. He succeeds the departing Stephen Cordy, who will leave the firm after a several-week-long transition period to pursue other opportunities, Pensions & Investments reports.

McDonald had served as a global consultant relations vice president at Permal before leaving for Arden.
