Bank of America has tapped a former hedge fund executive to become CFO of its investment bank.

Jennifer Hill will take the post at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from Bob Qutub, who becomes CFO of BofA's consumer banking division. She joins the firm from the Royal Bank of Scotland Group, where she landed in 2008 after leaving Tisbury Capital Management.

London-based Tisbury closed its doors a year later. Hill had served as its CFO.

Before joining Tisbury, Hill was a managing director at Goldman Sachs and a vice president at Citibank.
