May 4 2011 | 11:08am ET

UBS' loss is Morgan Stanley's gain: The former's Ashley Jarvis has joined the latter's prime brokerage.

Jarvis was named co-head of consulting at Morgan Stanley, alongside Jim Flanagan. He will begin his career with the firm in Hong Kong, where he was based for UBS, but will eventually move to London.

Jarvis left UBS last month after less than a year as global head of business and capital consultancy.
