JANA Hires Paulson Vet To Lead Marketing Effort

Hedge fund JANA Partners has hired its first marketing chief.

Michelle Russell Johnson joined the $3 billion event-driven specialist as a principal and director of marketing, Pensions & Investments reports. Johnson is a former senior vice president of investor relations, sales and marketing at Paulson & Co.

Johnson left Paulson late in 2009 to spend more time with her family.
