Synapse Adds Ford

London-based credit hedge fund Synapse Investment Management has added Rob Ford to its asset-backed securities team.

Ford joins as a partner from Barclays Capital, where he headed European asset-backed securities trading. He is Synapse’s third ABS trader, joining Citigroup veterans Ben Hayward and Eoin Walsh. Another recent addition to Synapse is Ford’s former coworker at Barclays, Gary Jenkins.
