May 23 2011 | 2:05pm ET

AlphaMetrix360 has named Mark Faulkenberg, most recently of International Asset Management, director of global operations.

In his new role, Faulkenberg will head day-to-day operations in the hedge fund administrator’s offices in Columbus, Chicago and the Cayman Islands while heading operational due diligence of hedge funds on the AlphaMetrix platform. He will be based in Columbus and report to David Young, AlphaMetrix’ COO.

Prior to his time as head of operational risk due diligence at IAM, Faulkenberg performed the same function for Lehman Brothers Alternative Investment Management, where he was a senior vice president. Faulkenberg has also worked for Prisma Capital Partners, Aegon USA Investment Management and Ramsey Financial.

“We are excited to bring on someone who will not only help provide a consistently high level of service to all of our administration clients, but also a standard of due diligence and oversight that we believe no other group can match,” said Young.

Founded in 2005, AlphaMetrix Group provides hedge funds and investors with a consolidated offering of independent platform, administration, transparency, risk monitoring and analytics, due diligence, background investigation and hedge fund event services.
