Castle Hall Hires Canadian Pension Due Diligence Manager

Hedge fund due diligence specialist Castle Hall Alternatives has added a public pension veteran to its team.

Ben Sansoucy was named a senior manager at the Toronto-based firm, joining from the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. At CPPIB, which he joined in 2007, Sansoucy was senior manager of operational due diligence at the US$148.2 billion plan.

Sansoucy also formerly worked at fund administrator Fortis Prime Fund Solutions.

"Ben’s experience leading the operational due diligence program for one of the world’s largest institutional investors, combined with his prior experience in fund administration, enhances both our knowledge base and our client service capability," CEO Christopher Addy said.
