CAM Private Equity Forms Swiss Subsidiary, Names New Partner

Private equity fund of funds shop CAM Private Equity has established a Swiss subsidiary based in Zurich dubbed CAM Private Equity Schweiz, and has appointed Benedickt Brenninkmeijer to run the new office.

Brenninkmeijer previously served as CEO of the private equity firm shaPE Capital, which has been listed on the Swiss Exchange since 2002.

“By establishing a Swiss subsidiary and welcoming Mr. Brenninkmeijer to the management team, CAM has taken its next crucial step on the path towards internationalization, thus underscoring its expansion goals,” said Rolf Wickenkamp, co-founder and executive partner at CAM Private Equity.

CAM Private Equity currently manages €2.5 billion (US$3.4 billion) in private equity assets.
