MKM Partners Hires Healthcare Specialist

Jun 14 2011 | 8:28am ET

Stamford-based MKM Partners has hired Jon LeCroy, M.D., as managing director in its equity research department covering biotechnology and specialty pharmaceuticals companies. The hire marks the beginning of the company’s expansion into the healthcare sector.

LeCroy has covered the same sector at Goldman Sachs, Natixis Bleichroeder and, most recently, at Hapoalim Securities USA.

"Our move into the healthcare vertical expands MKM's research footprint," said MKM Partners CEO Richard R. Castellano. "Jon's in-depth and actionable research—and his stockpicking prowess—will make him a key resource for MKM's existing institutional equity client base and enable us to service new clients focused on investment opportunities in healthcare."

MKM Partners is an institutional equity research, sales and trading firm.
