MF Global Adds Hedge Fund Sales Exec.

MF Global has snared Credit Agricole Investment Bank's Hong Kong-based head of hedge fund sales to boost its own such effort in Asia.

Michael Drennan has been named head of institutional sales for the Asia-Pacific region at the futures brokerage. He is charged with building MF Global's institutional client base, including hedge funds.

Drennan has a good deal of experience dealing with hedge funds. Prior to joining Credit Agricole, he was global head of hedge funds at Standard Chartered Bank. His resume also boasts stints at Lomond Group, AIG, Bank of America and Citigroup.
