Eton Park Healthcare Consultant Heads To White House

An Eton Park Capital Management consultant is moving to Washington to advise both President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.

Sarah Bianchi is returning to government after six years at New York-based hedge fund Eton Park, where she covered the healthcare industry. She previously worked for former Vice President Al Gore as senior health adviser and deputy issues director, and advised him on his failed 2000 presidential run. She also served as national policy director for Sen. John Kerry’s unsuccessful bid for the presidency four years later.

With a Democrat now back in the White House, Bianchi will be a deputy assistant to the president and senior policy adviser to the vice president.

“After six wonderful years at Eton Park, I am starting a new job at the White House,” Bianchi told Politico. “While I am excited about this new job, I am quite sad to be leaving Eton Park, which is an exceptional place with so many talented people.”
