Quantz Heats Up As Summer Arrives

Jun 21 2011 | 8:42am ET

Quantz Capital Management has shined as summer approaches, even as many of its peers have wilted in the heat.

The firm’s Quark Equity Market Neutral Fund followed its strong performance last month, when most hedge funds lost ground, with a further 1.06% gain in the first two weeks of June, according to an investor update obtained by FINalternatives. That follows the fund’s 1.87% jump in March.

Quark is up 5.42% since its debut in January.

The fund is managed by former Royal Bank of Canada proprietary trader Milind Sharma.
