Cliffwater Picks SAIL Analyst To Head Global Macro

Alternative investment consultancy Cliffwater has hired a new head of global macro hedge fund strategies.

Christopher Solarz succeeds Amy Earle, who left Cliffwater six months ago. He joins from fund of hedge funds SAIL Advisors, where he was senior analyst and head of tactical trading and relative value research, Pensions & Investments reports.

At Cliffwater, Solarz is charged with research and monitoring global macro managers.
