Alternative investments firm Larch Lane Advisors has hired a marketing chief to cover its funds of hedge funds and hedge fund seeding funds.

Lisa Preudhomme was named director of sales and marketing at the Rye Brook, N.Y.-based firm, an affiliate of Old Mutual Asset Management. She'll handle institutional sales and marketing in the new role.

Preudhomme joins the firm from fund of funds Cadogan Management, where she was vice president of client services and U.S. business development. She also formerly worked at Dreyfus Investment Advisors and Clay Finlay.

"We are excited to have Lisa join our team. She has a proven track record of working with institutional investors and is a solid addition to Larch Lane," Mark Jurish, founder of Larch Lane, said. "Despite continued challenges in the hedge fund industry, we see demand from high quality investors for hedge fund seeding and early stage hedge fund investing. Larch Lane is continuing to add to our team to best service these investors."
