Mittal Becomes PineBridge Asia CEO

PineBridge Investments has promoted Rajeev Mittal to be its new top man in Asia.

Mittal, who has worked at the firm for almost 20 years, was named CEO of Asia ex-Japan at PineBridge, the former asset management arm of insurance giant American International Group. He'll move from London to Hong Kong to take up those reins.

He will also remain in his current position of head of emerging markets and international fixed-income.

Mittal succeeds Ada Tse. Tse will remain a senior adviser to PineBridge.
