Perella Weinberg Partners has added private equity veteran Christopher O'Connor to cover the healthcare sector.

O'Connor worked at p.e. firm The Beacon Group until its acquisition by JPMorgan Chase in 2000. Since then, he's worked his way up the ranks of the bank, helping build its healthcare advisory practice.

O'Connor will serve as a partner and member of the corporate advisory group at Perella Weinberg.

"With nearly two decades of experience, Chris has an impressive network of senior relationships," Peter Weinberg, founder of the boutique investment bank, said. "He will be an integral member of our advisory team and will play a crucial role as we look to expand our capability into the healthcare sector."
