Hedge fund service provider Kinetic Partners has a new member of its corporate recovery and restructuring advisory.

Mike Seery will help to build Kinetic's U.S. restructuring practice, the firm said in a statement. Seery has some 20 years of industry experience, most recently at CRT Investment Banking, where he was senior vice president of financial restructuring.

"We are delighted that Mike has joined our firm," Kinetic's Neil Morris said. "His vast experience and sector expertise will significantly accelerate our expansion in the areas of restructuring advisory and business valuation."

Before joining CRT, Seery worked at Chanin Capital Partners, Peregrine Fixed Income and Merrill Lynch.
