Jefferies Prime Brokerage Exec. Quits

Jul 29 2011 | 10:20am ET

Jefferies has lost the head of its capital introductions business on the West Coast and one of his staffers.

Jeff McCarthy and Lindsay Ramar have both left the firm, where they worked in the San Francisco office, HFMWeek reports. Their exits follow the March hire of Friedman Billings Ramsey veteran Victor Bang as vice president of capital introduction.

Ramar's stay at Jefferies proved a short one: She also joined the firm in March, as an associate, from Wells Fargo Family Wealth, where she was an alternative investments analyst.
