Former Carbon360 Research Director Launches Vela Advisors

Aug 3 2011 | 9:02am ET

Daniel Golyanov, former director of research at research and consulting firm Carbon360, has launched his own firm, Vela Advisors, offering a variety of services to both fund managers and administrators.

Golyanov, the man behind the Fund Administration Fact Book at Carbon360, says his new firm’s offerings will include fund services finder, fund concierge, fund solutions and consulting.

The fund services finder is a free service to help manager’s select fund administrators. Said Golyanov in a statement:

"There was a definite need in the market for a service to help managers select quality administrators and form lasting partnerships that would help both the manager and the administrator grow side by side. Vela Advisors will fill that need and bridge the information gap between the two.”

Vela will also undertake project research and support through its fund solutions service and consult with fund administrators on business development initiatives.
