BlueMountain Capital Management veteran Theodore Stamos has left Investec Asset Management after less than two years as co-head of credit.

Stamos had been managing Investec's emerging market corporate debt and Monthly High Income funds, Investment Week reports.

Stamos' departure comes just over a year after his predecessor as co-head of credit and former colleague at BlueMountain, Jeffrey Burch, left the firm. Both men joined Investec in October 2009. Burch joined Millennium Management in June of last year.
