Morgan Stanley Picks New Asia Prime Brokerage Head

Morgan Stanley has a new prime brokerage chief in Asia.

The firm named Mehdee Reza to the post, which he will assume late next month. Reza is currently Asia head of generalist cash sales.

"Mehdee's wealth of experience in Asia and specifically with Asia hedge funds will help ensure we continue to offer the very best services to our global and regional client base," Alex Ehrlich, global head of prime brokerage and one of Reza's new bosses, wrote to Bloomberg.

Before joining Morgan Stanley, Reza co-founded a hedge fund in London and worked for Credit Suisse Group in Hong Kong.
