Saba Capital Management has added a JPMorgan Chase proprietary trader.

Maitland Hudson, who headed the bank's commercial mortgage-backed securities trading, joined the New York-based hedge fund last month. He'll focus on CMBS swaps and relative value trades at Saba, Bloomberg News reports.

Hudson joined JPMorgan in 2008 when the bank bought Bear Stearns.

Saba, founded by former Deutsche Bank prop. trader Boaz Weinstein, manages more than $4 billion.
