Top Hedge Fund Lawyer Grofman To Paul Weiss

One of the country's top law firms has added one of its top hedge fund lawyers.

Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison has hired Udi Grofman from Schulte Roth & Zabel. Grofman, a partner, counts or has counted Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, Pershing Square Capital Management and Shumway Partners among his clients. He also represented the former Goldman Sachs proprietary trading team, led by Robert Howard, in their negotiations to join KKR last year.

Grofman has been at Schulte Roth since 2001 and became a partner in 2007.
