RAB Capital Appoints Head of Fixed-Income Sales

RAB Capital has appointed Osman Shafi as head of fixed-income sales. Osman joins the firm from Brevan Howard, where he was instrumental in the development of the investor relations process.

Rod Barker, RAB’s director of business development, said, "We are delighted that someone of Osman's calibre and extensive client relationships has chosen to join RAB. His expertise in fixed income and macro-related strategies will help the positioning and distribution of the expanding range of RAB strategies in this area."

RAB was founded in 1999, and floated on AIM in March 2004. As May 1 the firm managed $6.16 billion of assets under management.
