New York-based hedge fund Anchorage Advisors has hired TDR Capital's João Rosa for its European business.
Rosa has taken an undisclosed position at Anchorage Capital Europe, Financial News reports. Before joining TDR, Rosa worked at Gleacher Partners and Citigroup.
According to FN, Rosa may be leaving his old firm in the lurch, to some extent. TDR is planning its first fundraising effort in six years next year, as its existing fund's investment period is believed to have expired. Rosa was an investment executive at the British private equity shop.
