SocGen Hires Rohatyn’s Wiseman

Société Générale has hired a hedge fund veteran to head its U.K. rates strategy.

Julian Wiseman will be based in London. The former Bank of England employee joins from Rohatyn Group, a $3 billion emerging market hedge fund in New York, where he had responsibility for finding and structuring trades in all currencies and fixed income markets.

Wiseman also formerly worked at Credit Suisse First Boston and JPMorgan.
