Oct 18 2011 | 11:01am ET

Convicted Ponzi schemer Bernie Madoff’s daughter-in-law blames him for her husband’s death.

Stephanie Madoff Mack, the widow of Mark Madoff, who committed suicide two years after his father’s arrest, spoke to Chris Cuomo, an anchor on ABC's 20/20 news show, about her life in the Madoff family.

Madoff Mack, who revealed she’d received a letter from Madoff following her husband’s suicide, told Cuomo that if she saw the senior Madoff today she’d tell him “that I hold him fully responsible for killing my husband, and I’d spit in his face."

The first family member to speak to the press, Madoff Mack has written an autobiography, The End Of Normal: A Wife’s Anguish, A Widow’s New Life, which comes out October 20 from Blue Rider Press.

The interview will air on Friday night.
