Hong Kong Digs For NewFinance Capital

NewFinance Capital, a subsidiary of Schroders, has opened a research office in Hong Kong,“in recognition of the opportunities in the Asian hedge fund market.” Thor Monsen, a senior analyst in the firm’s London office, will lead it.

“The Opus Funds managed by NewFinance Capital already have sizeable allocations to Asian hedge funds – we need to be close to our funds, and we need to follow the many new exciting opportunities in Asia closely,” Monsen said.
