Morgan Stanley Chief Strategist Joins Fortress

Henry McVey, previously a managing director and chief U.S. investment strategist at Morgan Stanley, is joining Fortress Investment Group.

McVey will be based in the Fortress’ New York office as a managing director, leading the firm’s new business efforts focused on deep value public equity investing.

McVey spent 12 years at Morgan Stanley in the equity research department.

"Henry is a very talented individual and recognized as a leading investment strategist,” Wesley Edens, CEO and chairman of Fortress, said. “We are excited that Henry will join Fortress and believe that he will be a great addition as we continue to build our equity investment products."
